Remove the G2 fields from the form, and replace them by optional XML elements in the node text, with defaults on new nodes

Explaining the poll

This is about the G2 Glossary for Drupal 6, which will be getting some new features.

Since new features imply new possible input fields, and since the node editing page is already crowded, I'm suggesting the above choices as potential ways to evolve the node editing form to streamline the editing process. And should I say... no, there are do not plan on providing alternative editing forms, with either XML elements or additional fields depending on an additional setting.

It's always interesting for me to be in touch with actual users.

I see that your site is using G2 for your philosophy glossary, including the alphabar. If you have ideas/wishes regarding the module, by all means submit them on the project page on d.o. : I'm preparing the D6 version, so it's a good time to press feature requests.
