PHP Tip of the day: performance impact of Vagrant and XDebug
So, thanks to Composer warnings, we all know that keeping XDebug is bad for PHP performance in general. Using virtualization also has a cost. But do any of these actually matter ? I did a few measurements this morning on a Drupal 8 site factory project, and the results are... interesting:
